Customer photo review of Umay L10 Foldable Treadmill 20% AUTO Incline with Pulse Sensors 14KM/H

I purchased this Umay Foldable Treadmill to try to get more exercise. At the time I think the price was less than $500 which was ok. This is a heavy item, but I managed to drag the box into the back room and set it up on my own. Context - female, 65 years, 5'6" was 5'8" so legs still long, obese at 130kg, few chronic health conditions including scoliosis (diagnosed last year) and stenosis (nipped nerve from back affecting mostly left leg) To unpack the treadmill, I had it stood on one end, freed the strapping bands and cut them, removing as much tape as possible, which meant I could remove half the box. There is plenty polystyrene around the parts to remove, plus a couple of bags of bits, then I walked the treadmill across the room and laid it down - heavy? Not as bad as I thought it might be. On carpet the rollers allowed you to manoeuvre it around as you need to get to both sides to screw the sides x 2. Then you fix the handle bars to your preferred height. Having read some negative reports about them being very low, I set mine at the second fixing hole and this seems ok to me. From the deck to the top of the handles measured 90mm and my arms were bent but fairly relaxed. The cup holders are only 40mm deep x 75mm diameter, but hold a round bottle with no drama. The display can be tilted to suit your preference. Using it was easy. 1KM/H is very slow, 2 slow, 3 seemed ok to me to start with but I was soon up to 4 where I was working but not overexerting. On a good day I do half of my time at 5KM/H where I am breathing slightly harder; just find your own pace and don't stress about the numbers. I tried the auto-incline to check it worked - at 7% it started to be harder and I think 8% might be all I would ever need when I get fitter, so plenty of scope to go higher. My guess is, the steeper the incline might end up like the very low speeds where you feel your feet are driving the belt, not the treadmill. Most of the noise comes from your feet slapping what I suspect is a timber deck over the gap between your floor and the treadmill. The motor hums along, but winds up at the higher speeds - listen to my video which was taken with just the motor running and no one on it. The pulse rate seems fairly accurate, machine only in KM/H and not MPH, and no step counter - I use one in my pocket just to see what steps equate to time exercising. Most/all of the programmes go too fast for me so I just set my own pace. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. Health benefits: By the second week of doing 10 minutes = @ 1000 steps, my chronic back pain has lessened significantly. I feel my hips/sacroiliac move easier and I can stride more instead of the odd gait I have developed due to chronic pain. A 1000 steps might seem insignificant to some, but it is a 1000 more consecutive steps than I did before due to pain, chronic fatigue and muscle weakness. In time, I will be increasing the numbers and time because I feel I can. Do I feel impelled to do it? No, I am just being proactive as my back cannot be 'fixed', hydrotherapy is limited to 2 rounds per year, I have the space and 255 to risk trying a treadmill. Would I recommend it? Yes Am I paid to do this? No This is entirely my own experience and I hope this review helps someone else make their minds up

Customer photo review of Umay L10 Foldable Treadmill 20% AUTO Incline with Pulse Sensors 14KM/H

Great treadmill, easy to set up, touchscreen is straightforward. My only gripe is I wish the power cable was longer. But I was able to find a longer one on amazon.

Great treadmill, but display screen is hard to tilt upright, seems stuck.

The device itself is great. It's powerful, not loud, and shows exactly what I need on the display. Now I'll talk about the problems, since you asked. The description is a lame joke. The P0-P12 programs could have been included in a detailed table, it's not very understandable. The biggest problem is that they don't say a single word about lubricating the belt with silicone oil. And they should, because this is not everyone's second treadmill. The folding is very difficult, I have to keep screwing it in. The wheels should have been designed to be drop-down, because it fits in a 16.5 cm space (if I remove two spring bolts), but you can only push it under the bed on its rubber feet, but they are just there to prevent it from sliding. If I could get instructions on lubricating the belt, I would be happy about that. I got a CX80 silicone spray for treadmills Otherwise, it's a very good machine, I'm glad I bought it.

Muy contento con la compra. Ocupa poco espacio y es lo que necesitaba, pero hace un poco más de ruido de lo que pensaba a baja velocidad.

Parfait

it is a great product!

👍👍

Fair deal.

Good

It's perfect! I love it!

Because my job as a postie requires a good level of fitness, I decided to buy this treadmill after major surgery in mid-October. A period of inactivity resulted in a 10kg weight gain, and as a 60-year-old woman, I wanted a safe, effective way to rebuild my fitness and be ready to return to work within a few weeks. I absolutely love it. My son assembled it in just minutes, which was a great start. The treadmill itself is a generous size, and the handles come up to my groin (at the height of handles shown in the main picture). For reference, Im just over 171cm (5ft 7.5), with a 31 inside leg, but, unfortunately, currently 81kg ??. The control panel is clear, modern, and very easy to read. I especially appreciate the countdown warning when you press start with no sudden surprises. The handles have built-in controls (left side incline, right side speed) and also measure heart rate. The motor is powerful yet not overly noisy, the incline adjusts smoothly, and the workout finishes gently rather than stopping abruptly. My experience so far: Flat walking doesnt reflect the demands of my job, so I use a 15% incline at speed level 7, which gives me a strong but comfortable walking pace. I currently complete four 15-minute sessions, burning around 450 calories in total. Naturally, calorie burn varies by individual, but the workout is challenging and very effective. One negative: The picture in the advert is misleading and unnecessary. The woman shown is either about 3ft tall (given the height of handles), or the image has been poorly edited onto the treadmill. Overall, if youre looking for a reliable treadmill to build fitness (especially after recover) and confidence, I highly recommend this one ??

Delivery very good. Product as described and works well.

I cant describe how thrilled I was after assembling this running machine. Its robust, well-built, and absolutely worth every penny

For a heavy-duty treadmill, the setup is surprisingly simple. Just tighten a few screws, and youre ready to go. When not in use, it folds away effortlessly

Really impressed better than what I thought would be. I weigh 22 stone and there isn't a problem taking that. Well impressed

As an 83 year old couch potato whose fitness level had fallen through the floor, I ordered this item in the hope of restoring some measure of dignity. Well, after using it every day for the past few weeks, Ive now enrolled in this years London marathon! Whilst that may be a pipe dream, there is no denying that my daily exertions have definitely had the desired effect. I can now walk from my armchair to my bed without pausing for breath. Amazing!!! Seriously though, this is an incredible machine and well worth the money. Well built, almost silent in operation and blessed with a range of speeds and inclines which are way beyond my current level. A large clear screen, a three beep countdown to operation once the start button is pressed and a gradual slowdown once ones heart is about to explode! All in all, well worth the modest outlay and used daily, definitely improves fitness levels. Highly recommended.

i have already given a review. I will repeat. The item exceeds my expectations. The quality is good. All expects of delivery was very good. Delivery Driver was very good.

First of all this treadmill is well built and very solid piece of kit.But please be aware that when I tried to rotate the display panel it would not move it was solid. After a few hours of trying to find out why on the Internet I found there is a cap head Allan screw with a lock nut on which the display uses to swivels on was tighten up at manufacture and locked solid.i had to use a ratchet and 12" extension bar with a 13mm socket and give it a half one turn. Works fine now. Do not try and force the display screen as it will break. Also the user manual is very basic and does not mentioned having to use l silicone oil lubrication on the belt.

The widened running belt and shock absorption make my runs smoother. No more knee pain!

Sturdy treadmill easy to assemble but you need to disassemble to a degree if you want to fold it flat.

The intelligent LED touch screen is user-friendly, showing all necessary data at a glance.

It is easy to assemble and easy to use. Description matches that on amazon. I use my treadmill all of the time - it is fab.

Love it absolute game changer especially especially when weather is not great for walking. Only regret I did not purchase sooner. So easy to manoeuvre with the wheel function. Manual not great for it but easily sourced a better one in line. Feel very safe on it and it is sturdy.

I just got it. It was very easy to setup and I love it

Brilliant treadmill. I use it most days. I managed to assemble it by myself. Definitely worth buying.

Very happy with this treadmill surprisingly. It was worth the money. I would definitely recommend it.

It has everything we need. Very easy to put together. Very sturdy and heavy. You do have to unplug it to stand it up against the wall. I am not strong enough to lift it alone so we just leave it down for right now. Great deal.

Bette than I was expecting although I'm not sure the speeds are quite correct. Seems slower than a standard treadmill.

The Treadmill is great me and my wife really enjoy walking on the Treadmill Value for money
